Blue Fifth Review

Just heard that Blue Fifth Review is taking two of my poems for its Winter 2008 issue.

Woohoo!

Publication tracking note: End of year tallying says that makes a total of four pieces accepted for publication in 2007, to appear in 2008. Question is: should they be used to boost 2007 stats or to get a head start on 2008 stats?

settling in on the dark side

in an unsettled sort of way. I must be. Why else would I be mulling over simultaneous submissions?

Why do writers send out work simultaneously? Because we’re only on this earth for a short time and many editors take months to respond to a single submission.”

Heh.

Here’s the Kenyon Review on simultaneous submissions. More editor-poet wars. Blog-posted-poem déjà vu.
