One of my all-time favorite phrases in the Bible, and an especially beautiful Psalm to boot.
I usually swear by the KJV, but I definitely don’t like this one in it. “As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul…” doesn’t work for me right now. Still looking for the best overall version.
