Which way I flie is Hell; my self am Hell;
And in the lowest deep a lower deep
Still threatning to devour me opens wide,
To which the Hell I suffer seems a Heav’n.

Seriously, I adore Paradise Lost. You have been making my day with this stuff. The descriptions of Christ in the third book are some of the most beautiful things I have ever read; I think I may have even gotten slightly misty my first time through it, and I am not embarrassed at all. That’s how much I love it!
It’s a beautiful read, for sure. Reading Rob’s blog as he reads and posts about it is keeping me going, so far.
